Its interesting how God downloads a word or thought to his children. Interesting is not a good word more like amazing. I said my salvation prayer in Sept. of 2000 and ever since then until just recently I have been completely bummed about the fact that I am forgetful. I listen to preachers that seem to know every verse of the bible and I'm just crying out to be like that. What I did not realize is that I have a special personality with specific attributes and talents that God has given me as a gift and he knows fully how to communicate with me. He knows that I soak up emotional situations. He knows that my physical word memory is not good. He knows that I learn through watching a situation, visual images that will speak for a lifetime. Perfect example. I was at a meeting with my company and I heard that one of the ladies there with me only painted the toe nails that her shoes did not cover. Now we all laughed with her enjoying a funny moment but God actually began a work in me. His word came the next day. "People are good at only polishing the parts of their lives that they show to their peers. The part that is covered up is never dealt with. The sin, the disconnection from God and the fatherless hearts of a generation are all hidden behind a vail of pain that God has already given us the victory to remove." All that from partially painted toe nails. So from that I realize even more that God uses every scripture I have ever read to speak a message I could have never thought of. That is what it means to have a LIVING WORD dwelling inside me. It effects how I process everything, not just words on a page. So rest assured that God will greet you and begin to build a relationship with you in ways you never imagined.
