We all need a daddy. It’s in our spiritual d.n.a. The desire is part of who we are. So who or what fills the role of daddy? What is the role of daddy? Who should be stepping up to be daddy’s to a fatherless generation? I don't mean an earthly dad I mean a spiritual dad that is nothing more than Gods true love for you on earth. Not the love we're used to. The earthly love that has expectations we can never meet but a love that has zero expectations attached. A love that is the same through rebellion the same through stepping away the same through complete defiance of what we know God is asking from us. You may ask "but doesn't he want us to change and give up everything?" He does ask us to walk away from worldly things but that's not to earn his love he asks so he can have a close relationship with you. He will love you regardless. He is so jealous for you. Yes jealous. Jealousy is of God; Satan just perverted it to create one more hurdle on the way to the king. Have you ever thought that everyone of Satan’s tools is originally a gift from God? Jealousy,sex,anger, love, family, friendship, worship, wholeness, offense, sonship, motherhood and yes fatherhood. Fatherhood has been bastardized by the enemy meaning that there are a bunch of fathers walking around with no daddy. How can they be a dad if they have never had one? You see this revelation can sure sound like judgment until we realize that all of us fathers fall short. We need the daddy on the throne in order to become a father in his image. To become the father that can impact generations we need to lay face down at the feet of God so he can download His unfailing love in order for us to show it to others. I love what Jake Hamilton said in one of his messages. “A 20 year old can father a 40 year old". I watch my 9 year old daughter mother women much older than her. Gods’ love does not care about age difference. -- Ok so dads go to his feet. Get on your face. Fully submit your fatherhood to him. So what then? Amazing things will happen. Whoever is slow to anger is better than the mighty, and he who rules his spirit than he who takes a city Proverbs 16:32. We all want the respect we deserve so we demand that of our children to the point of destroying their spirit. But we for sure got our respect. But see God is saying to me in this scripture that he who rules his spirit and is slow to anger is better than he who demands respect and tries to take it by force. Our identitiesare so screwed up because the world says make money earn respect you are man. The problem is worldly respect can never fill the respect cup so we go home demanding it from our families. But what happens when the job goes away and the wife has to go out and earn a living for a while? Most dads just lost their identity and all worldly respect. But that's not what god sees. He sees past the generations of fatherly junk, he sees past all the worldly expectations that we can never meet. No wonder men don't truly believe in themselves because worldly expectations cannot be met so we always fall short. Always. So how does that work with God? Does he have expectations upon your life? Yes but they are in no way performance based. You may say well he wants us to pray and fast and pray and read. Yes he does desire those things but he knew you would fall short, in comes Jesus. We can now take our shortcomings to the father and turn them into the fullness of life. Then once you begin to experience this love and grace you will desire to spend more time with him in prayer fasting and reading. Fathers it is imperative that you get this because god is showing us in this message that he is the perfect dad that we should model our fatherhood after. We need to take this seriously. It’s life and death. Kids are walking around clueless as to who they are trying every worldly offering to figure it out and it’s all because dads are not being fathers. Father Son Holy Ghost. That says to me that if a dad is a real father to a son the Holy Ghost can begin to tell the son how much his Daddy in heaven loves him. When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you Isaiah 43:2. Now that's love.This is the way we need to be loving our sons and daughters. They need to know that when they need us we are there waiting to pour Gods love all over them.

So we have answered who are the dads - Every man that allows the lord to poor his love into him. And we have answered what is the role of daddy - To be spiritual fathers to a generation. Guiding them, loving them without expectation, and not controlling them and demanding respect we do not deserve. Now who should be stepping up to be fathers to a fatherless generation? Who is a great question. You, you, you, you, you, you, and you. All of you have been called. So who wants to throw away the chains of worldly fatherhood and pick up the armor of Godly fatherhood? As i said before this is life and death. So no pressure.
