Board of Directors

These Board members came together almost effortlessly. They all believed in CDR's vision before there was land or horses. Bryan & Amanda know that God's hand has been in every detail of this ministry including a solid Board. CDR wouldn't be where it is today without God or the following Board Members.

Bryan Montgomery (Executive Director & Co-Founder)

Passion for God, people & horses accurately describes the heart of Bryan Montgomery. He is a self-employed father of two lovely daughters, Trysten & Hannah and husband to beautiful wife, Amanda. He and Amanda co-founder Camp David Ministries, Inc. over 4 years ago. "Seeing the dream become reality has been amazing. God is the center of everything we do. The horses are an incredible way God extends His love and we want people to experience that. It's fun to play in God's creation, come join us, you just might meet God here."

Amanda Montgomery (Corporate Secretary, Co-Founder, Fundraising Coordinator)

Amanda is a valuable thread woven into every part of Camp David Ranch. Her greatest desire is for people and horses who have been abused to be healed and made whole. Amanda helps mentor the children and adults that come to CDR. She believes the ministry they give at Camp David is sometimes “planting a seed of hope in someone’s life” and other times “we get to see the healing take place”.

Clint Pitzer (Treasurer)

Clint and wife, Jill have been married for 15 years and friends with the Montgomery’s for just as long. Clint is a graduate of the University of Oklahoma and is the president of his own company, ACS Playground Adventures of OKC, OK. The Montgomery’s love and passion for ministering to children and horses inspired Clint to join their vision for the camp from the very beginning. “Knowing the kids are being loved, that God is here and seeing the smiles on their faces in a setting that is non-threatening, it’s why I’m here.” Clint believes that CDR is an avenue that God uses to administer the truth and love of Jesus to children. His own children have attended camps as well as helping out as they’ve gotten older. Clint helps provide food, funding as well as guidance and direction for CDR. He is also hands-on, participating with the children and horses at the Fall and Summer camps when possible.

Jeri Montgomery (Event Planner)

Jeri has been a part of Camp David Ranch from the beginning. She witnessed what transpired with her granddaughter Trysten and was excited to join the journey of healing rescued horses and people. "It's like what was hidden inside Trysten, who she was, came bursting out from inside. If this can happen for her, it can happen for anyone." Because of the central location, Jeri hosts the Board of Director meetings in her home. She also offers support through prayer, or guidance as needed. Married for over 41 years to Stephen, they have two sons, Steve and Bryan, co-founder of CDR. The core of CDR is friends & family and combined with the healing of God's love "you see so many miracles, it turns your life around."

Lori Colbart (Board Member / CDR Volunteer)

Lori joined CDR after attending the first camp in 2006. Her original intention was “just to help out” but then God did something amazing. “I saw children that seemed lost. When it was time to leave, their was a look of hope in their eyes. I was hooked and I can’t stay away.” Lori’s husband Mike and their 5 children attend as many camps and events as possible. While Lori volunteers at the camps, helping with art projects or taking the children on excursions, her main focus is prayer.

Dove Adams

Dove is an active member of the board. A Natural Horseman, he has more than 16 years experience training horses. While attending church, Dove and wife, Tracy, heard the Montgomery’s vision for CDR along with Trysten’s testimony. “My wife and I looked at each other and immediately knew this was God and we had to be involved.” Dove’s passion for horses matches his passion for children.“ It’s amazing how God connects the children and the horses.” Dove works with the rescued horses that come to CDR and helps train them. He also teaches skills on how to stay safe around the horses. “The way the children relate to horses and to me hits me in the heart. I know this is God’s work and I’m blessed to be a part of it.”
